The officers of the Western Alliance Conference of planetariums and Jeff Bowen (F-IPS, F-GLPA) are pleased to announce Bowen Technovation is funding a $500 scholarship to go towards attendance at the WAC conference 2019.

Any WAC region planetarium professional may nominate any higher ed Junior-Senior-Graduate level student majoring or minoring in any STEM based program from any WAC region.  Nominations should include a letter from the student as to their plans for using their education in the future.
  
A Bowen representative and the WAC regional presidents will present the award at Western Alliance Conference (WAC 2019) which will take place in Omaha, Nebraska from July 31st to August 3rd, 2019.

The deadline for nominations would be June 4. The selection will be announced before June 15.

Selection will be made by Phil Groce (F-IPS), Mark Trotter (F-IPS), and Jeff Bowen (F-IPS).

The "Western Alliance Conference" or WAC, is the conference organized by 4 IPS affiliates: GPPA, PPA, RMPA and SWAP.
